Munich 2012 - 2013

A stay in Munich, in an inspiring and shared studio space environment, has produced a series of paintings populated with little people ‘Bonhommes’. Based on observation of a new environment, these little people came to life in these imaginative and funny scenes, including Oktober Fest, Beer Garden and Christmas Market.

The ‘Bonhommes’ then found their way in later paintings made in Montreal upon Ursula’s return.
